Payment Sorting — Help and support

1. Open Payment Sorting from Apps in Shopify admin.
2. Add the exact names of the methods shown in standard Checkout.
3. Drag the handles, or use the up/down buttons, to arrange your preferred order.
4. Enable sorting and click Save payment order. Check a standard Checkout without completing payment.
5. Pause sorting by clearing Enable payment sorting and saving.

Methods unavailable for a buyer are skipped. Unlisted methods retain their relative order after your preferred methods. Changes do not create or activate payment gateways.

Shopify restricts credit card customization on non-Plus US/Canada stores, and does not permit reordering accelerated wallets. Sorting does not apply to Shop Pay Checkout or POS. Use one sorting app to avoid conflicting rules.
